Grazing on a Daydream is meant to be a feast for the eyes. It represents dreams being realized and achieving success in the most pure sense. I chose a saturated spring evening palette and added playful depth from diagonal shadows in the fields up to the dancing cloud formations to create this feeling of satisfaction and wonder.

It took several trips to the farm to take reference photos (and play with the foals!) and many, many hours in the studio to create this special commission. I’m so grateful for this experience and excited that I am able to share my favorite crop of the painting as a print with you!
